Do it for the bit! (A cabaret fundraiser) 

A raunchy, funny, unhinged night of cabaret, games, and FUN (draising). 

Hosted by local cabaret artist and mythical creature HOOK!! 

This is a night where brilliant performers will show off acts they’ve created purely for the bit, or for the love of their art, or because one night they woke up in cold sweat and realised they had a deep pull inside them to do a highly specific performance that just HAD TO EXIST RIGHT NOW with no clear understanding of why...

This is also a night where you’ll have the chance to play Let’s Name That Horse, do a silent auction, and of course, have yourself a silly, sexy, delightful time!!!

Note* this is an 18+ event! 

 Micklegate Social uses challenge 25 so be prepared if you're lookin youthful. 

Access/barrier and event information: 

-This is a relaxed event, you are welcome to come and go as you need. Various breaks will also be provided throughout the night. 

- The event will take place downstairs in a basement with no step-free access. 

-There will be unreserved seating. If we sell out there might be a few more people than there are seats. If seating is necessary for you to be able to attend send me an email and I'll make sure you've got somewhere to sit. 

-There will be moderately loud music and potentially sound effects at various points in the night. 

-Content Warnings will be provided where relevant for each act. 

Bathrooms: The bathrooms are single stall gender-neutral. With one bathroom specifically located in the basement event space as well.
